A rare Bronze and enamel Nurses badge from the National Hospital,Queens Square.Originally the National Hospital for the Paralysed and Epileptic (1859-1904) it later became The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery .The design features the Rose,Thistle and Shamrock in coloured enamels.Good Condition with pin and clasp good.Unmarked to rear.This particular design dates to the 1950s and 60s.Height 30mm
