Glasgow Western Infirmary,Gold Medical Nursing Prize Medal

A stunning Gold Nurses pendant Prize Medal from the Glasgow Western Infirmary from the 1950s.Although only of a gilt metal it is in excellent condition.It consists of a hexagonal medal with the intertwined initials GWI incised into the centre.This is suspended from a plain pin back bar brooch.The front bear the word Medical Nursing Medal.The rear is engraved Awarded To Margaret Ogilvie 1953.Height 32mm
