Blackburn Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Health Authority,Nurses badge

A base metal and enamel nurses badge from the Blackburn,Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Health Authority,which i believe dates to the late 1970s and the 1980s.It features a central Maltese cross in white enamel trimmed in blue.To the centre of this is a red Rose of Lancashire.The hospital title is on a blue enamel border to the edge and this has an ornate laurel wreath to it's rim.Good overall condition with no enamel damage,pin,clasp and safety roller catch are all i good order.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 29mm
