Southampton Group Hospitals,Lymington Hospital Nurses badge

A rare silver plated and enamel pendant badge for Nurse Training at Lymington Hospital,part of the Southampton Hospitals Group.The medal is in the shape of the rose of Hampshire with a central Lamp of Learning in light green enamel.Southampton Group Hospitals appears in red enamel around the edge and the pin back bar brooch bears Lymington in green enamel.The pin and clasp are good and the bar is marked AF(Anthony Fattorini?).The medal has makers marks for Firmin B,Ham.Some surface scratches and wear to the plating in places.I believe this design dates to the 1950s.Height 44mm
