Local Government Board For Scotland,Silver Fever Nurses Badge
Established in 1894,the Local Government Board was in some respect the equivalent of the Metropolitan Asylum Board in Scotland.This badge was issued for Nurse's trained under the supervision of the Board.The design features a white enamel Moline Cross,edged in blue in a voided centre.To the centre of the cross is a blue diamond with two entwined C's.On the silver band around the edge is 'Local Government Board for Scotland'
