A Silver and enamel nurses badge fro the National Royal Scottish Hospital School of Nursing.The Royal Scottish National Hospital opened in May 1863 as the Scottish National Institution for the Education of Imbecile Children. It was one of the first institutions in Scotland to care for children with learning disabilities and took patients from across the country,finally closing in 2002.In excellent condition with pin,clasp and safety roller catch all good.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham, Engraved to G G Guy.Silver hallmarks for 1990 Height 32mm
