London Heart & Chest Hospitals,London Chest Hospital Badge

A base metal and enamel nurses badge from the London Chest Hospital in Victoria Park. This is one of four different badges which were of a similar pattern issued by the National Heart and Chest Hospitals.
Located in Bonner Road on land that had been owned by The Bishops of London.The badge was introduced in 1974 and shows the Bishop's Mitre after Bishop Bonner,and a Mulberry tree which had once been located on the site of the Hospital.
Condition is very good with only a very minor chip at 3 o' clock,pin clasp and safety roll catch all good.Height 36mm
