A Nurses pendant badge for Kingston Hospital Nurses League.It consists of a pin back suspension bar brooch bearing the letters K.H.N.L. The pendant badge bears a crest with the motto Alterum Alterius Auxilia Egit-The One Needs the Help of the Other.The League was set up in 1905 and this particular badge dates to the 1930s,it is engraved to the rear to H M (Hilda May) Aylward who trained from 1930-33.Good overall condition although pin has been lost and has a temporary replacement.Height 55mm
