Royal Naval School of Physiotherapy badge
A scarce Badge from the Royal Naval School of Physiotherapy.The first Royal Navy Sick berth attendant to qualify as a Masseur gained his certificate in 1906 and a school of Massage was set up at RN Hospital Chatham in 1917.I believe that this badge dates to the 1950s when there was a School of Physiotherapy at RN Hospital Haslar.The badge is in a moderate condition only with several chips to the edges of the enamel.Pin and clasp intact.Height 25mm
