A Brass and enamel Nurses badge from the Queen Elizabeth School of Nursing in Birmingham.It shows the crest of the hospital between two stalks of Foxglove plants( noted for their medicinal use).This version predates the similar badge for QE SoN Birmingham United Hospitals.Good overall condition but with minimal surface rubbing and minor scratches.Pin and clasp good.Makers mark for J R Gaunt Birm.Height 43mm
