A cased presentation nurses silver prize medal from the Royal Southern Hospital Liverpool.In it's original wooden lined presentation case with silk lining from Boodle & Dunthorne Goldsmiths,Lord Street Liverpool. The medal bears the Hospital Nurse training badge flanked by two angels and is suspended from a pin back bar brooch.The rear is inscribed Awarded to Nora Joan Smith Junior Nurses Examination1948.Hallmarked for B&D Birmingham 1948.Very good condition.Medal height 51mm
