Royal Worcester Figurine,Sister St Thomas' Hospital

I have been able to source another of these extremely desirable and scarce Royal Worcester Nursing Sister Figurines .These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is of a Nursing Sister from the Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' in London.It features a seated Sister in a pink striped chair adorned with the Hospital badge to the rear.It is approximately 6 and a half inches inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in spotted blue uniform with white apron,complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses badge and pleated cap with bows,she is holding a book. In excellent condition with no chips,cracks or flaws
It is missing its original box and certificate
These figurines are increasingly rare and sought after and seldom come onto the market.Their scarcity reflect my purchase cost and subsequent retail price. Please ask for any further details or pictures.
