A Silver and enamel badge for the Pastures Hospital Mickleover. Originally the Derby County Asylum it was renamed in 1948 before it finally closed in 1994. This enamel badge features a caduceus on the lower part of a shield topped by three stags heads associated with Derbyshire.General condition very good with minor surface scratches but no enamel loss.Buttonhole back fixing as issued to Male Nurses.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham.Silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1957 height 32mm
