A chrome and enamel midwives badge from the Bath School of Midwifery.The circular badge has four devices taken from the previous Schools of Nursing which made up the group.Designed from a competition in the early 1980s,the badge has the coat of arms for Bath above the red Wyvern of Somerset,The blue swallow from the Orthopaedic Hospital Badges and the green cross from St Martins Hospital.There were also slightly different versions awarded for SRN and SEN training. Condition good with pin,clasp and safety roller catch all good.Unmarked to rear.Height 32mm
