A Silver and enamel Nurses Badge for the Pontefract,Castleford & Ackton School of Nursing.The circular badge features a central design of a Caduceus in front of a castle (representing Pontefract) this is imposed upon a White rose of Yorkshire.The hospital title appears in silver on a blue enamel band around the edge.Condition good but with several surface scratches.The pin and clasp is present but the safety roller catch is missing.Engraved to Eleanor Wilson June 1967 June 1970.Silver hallmarks for John Pinches London 1966.
