The Warneford Hospital Leamington,Silver Nurses Badge

A silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Warneford Hospital,Leamington.Originally the main Hospital for the town it finally closed in 1993,This badge depicts the arms of Royal Leamington Spa with the Hospital title on blue enamel around the rim.Condition is very good with only very minor enamel damage at the edges.A hole for a safety chain has been drilled to one side.Engraved to the rear Mabel Large 1943-1946.Silver hallmarks for M&B(Marples & Beasley)Birmingham 1945.
