Manchester Royal Eye Hospital,Nurses Badge

A Bronze pendant badge from the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
The Nurse Training School began in 1898 and although this badge is dated to the 1930s, I believe it may have been issued retrospectively as the first badges were apparently given out in the early 1940s.The lozenge shaped medal bears a crown with the hospital title around the edge.This hangs from a pin back bar brooch.Pin and clasp are intact.Some staining to face but otherwise condition is good.Engraved to the rear is H.Green 1933-34 Height 48mm
