A superb silver gilt and enamel Nurses badge for the Limerick Regional Hospital School of Nursing.The unusual design consists of a patonce cross which is mostly covered by a circular badge upon which is a central crest topped with Mercy.( This is I believe a Catholic religious motif) the motto Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam-To the Greater Glory of God is also used by the Jesuits.In good clean condition.Pin ,clasp and safety roller catch are all good,safety chain in situ.Silver hallmarks for Dublin 1994.Makers LB -Lee Brothers.Height 35mm
