Shrewsbury Hospital Management Committee, Morda Hospital Training school,SEN Badge

A chrome and enamel pendant nurses badge for the Morda Hospital State Enrolled Nurse Training School in Oswestry.The medal consists of a blue enamel Lamp of Learning with the title on a blue enamel band to the rim.This is suspended from an ornate pin back bar brooch with Shrewsbury Hospital Management Committee on it.Condition is very good,pin and clasp is good.Named to the rear SEN G C Hardy.Unfortunately I have not been able to locate this lady in the roll in order to date the badge,however I am able to say that this design was certainly in use in the mid 1950s.height 52mm
