A scarce silver pendant badge from the Seacroft Hospital Leeds,unusually for dual RSCN and RFN Training.This was part of the Leeds B Group Hospital Management Committee.It had originally been an Isolation hospital but became a general hospital after 1948.
The badge consists of a silver lozenge shaped medal with a central design of the Leeds city crest.This is suspended from a plain silver pin back bar brooch.Condition is good although with some surface wear.The pin and clasp is intact but loose.The rear of the medal bears RSCN(Registered Sick Childrens Nurse)No.12713 RFN(Registered Fever Nurse)No.20427,
1955-59.It bears silver hallmarks for Chester 1955
This is for Patricia Durrant who is shown in the GNC registers as having qualified as RSCN 12713 on 8.12.58 and as RFN 20427 on 4.8.59,both at Seacroft Hospital Leeds.Height 48mm
