Kings College Hospital School of Nursing,Nurses badge

A base metal and enamel badge from Kings College Hospital School of Nursing.This is the post 1972 version,it features the coat of arms of the Hospital,the crown and lion from the Royal Crest,the book symbolising Learning and the motto"Sancte et Sapient"-Holiness and Wisdom.This version has a gilt field rather than the more usual silver ground.I am led to be believe that this was the version for Enrolled Nurse training however I have,as yet ,been unable to confirm this
In good condition,pin and clasp intact,safety chain in situ.No makers mark .height 31mm
