A Silver and enamel Pendant Nurses badge,for St Charles' Hospital Paddington.In Excellent condition,with minimal wear.Originally called the St Marylebone Union Infirmary it was renamed St Charles' Hospital in 1930.It became part of the Paddington Group of Hospitals in 1948 and this badge dates to the 1950s,
In very good condition with pin having been professionally replaced, clasp intact,it is marked to T.M.McQuay,Sept 1959.Silver hallmarks are for 1954 and makers mark AR&S for A Roden & Son of Hatton Garden.Height drop from suspension bar 60mm
