St Bartholomew's School of Nursing ,Silver Nurses Badge

A popular silver and enamel Nurses badge from the famous St Bartholomew's Hospital London.The basic design features the black and white Wakering shield used by the Hospital for over 500 years.The blue band around the edge had a number of variations over the years and this particular pattern was awarded between 1978 and 1989.Very good condition with minimal surface damage.Pin,clasp and safety roller catch are all good.Engraved for S R. Johnson,hallmarks for TF (Thomas Fattorini)Birmingham 1885.Height 29mm
