A rare pressed metal and enamel nurses badge from Priorsdean Hospital Portsmouth.The hospital was the Isolation Hospital for Portsmouth.and was originally named Milton Hospital until the 1930s.I believe this badge would have been awarded for Registered Fever Nurse Training.
The art deco inspired design features a Lamp of Learning with the star and crescent motif of Portsmouth on an enamelled triangle.Condition is good.Pin and clasp are good.Height 39mm
