A Badge from the interestingly named Royal Hospital & Home For Incurables in Putney.Originally founded to address the fact that most Voluntary hospitals refused to admit patients with incurable conditions.Whilst paupers might be admitted for long term care to the Workhouse,the middle classes were limited for treatment .Founded in the 1850s it was to gain it's royal warrant in 1919 having been renamed the Royal Hospital & Home,and today it still operates as the Royal Hospital For Neuro-Disability.
The badge consists of a central Queen's crown,around this "All The Good for the Good of All" appears on a garter belt.The rear has Royal Hospital & Home For Incurables Putney inscribed.
