A heavy silver and enamel nurses badge for the St Helier Hospital Carshalton.It's design features the head of the saint,a hermit who was beheaded by Saxon Pirates on the Island of Jersey in the 6th century.In good overall condition, pin and clasp intact and safety chain in situ.Engraved for D J Anderson1943-47.Silver hallmarks for Thomas Fattorini,Birmingham 1946 Height 32mm
