South Middlesex Hospital,Isleworth.Enrolled Nurses Badge

A base metal and enamel pendant badge from the Assistant Nurse Training School of the South Middlesex Hospital Isleworth.Originally an Isolation Hospital,it later took acute patients before becoming a psychogeriatric hospital, eventually closing in 1991.
Whilst the title Assistant was dropped from State Enrolled (A) Nurse Training in the early 1960s,this badge looks to have retained the letters ANTS in its design.In good condition ,it is suspended from a pin back bar brooch with the Latin "Ut Prosim"-That I May Serve.Condition good, pin,clasp and safety roller catch all good.Named to the rear Hanna Dattoo May 1968-May 1970.Height 42mm
