Royal Beatson Memorial Hospital Enrolled Nurse Training School nurses Badge

A base metal and enamel nurses badge from the Royal Beatson Memorial Hospital Enrolled Nurse Training School in Glasgow.Originally set up in 1886 as a Cancer Hospital,it was renamed the Royal Beatson after 1948.I believe this badge probably dates to the 1970s.The thistle design appears on a white background with the hospital title on red enamel around the rim.Condition is very good, pin and clasp are good.Makers mark for Vaughtons B'Ham 3.Height 32mm
