A nice silver and enamel nurses badge from the Stracathro School of Nursing.Established in 1939 as a Wartime Emergency Hospital in Angus Scotland ,it went on to become a large Teaching hospital.The hexagonal design features the initials SH in a voided centre.Condition is very good with pin and clasp good.Numbered to the rear 78.Hallmarked for JP(John Pinches)London 1949 Height 24mm
