Blackburn Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Health Authority,Nurses badge

A base metal and enamel nurses badge from the Blackburn,Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Health Authority,which i believe dates to the late 1970s and the 1980s.It features a central Maltese cross in white enamel trimmed in blue.To the centre of this is a red Rose of Lancashire.The hospital title is on a blue enamel border to the edge and this has an ornate laurel wreath to it's rim.Good overall condition with no enamel damage,pin,clasp and safety roller catch are all in good order.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 29mm
