Bristol Royal Infirmary,Silver Nurses badge

A silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Bristol Royal Infirmary.The lozenge shaped badge features the intertwined initials BRI in silver in a voided centre.The motto Charity Universal appears on a black band around the edge and this is topped by a royal crown.Condition is very good, pin and clasp intact but slightly loose.Silver hallmarks for JRG&S(J R Gaunt & Son) Birmingham 1923 Height 36mm
