Trinity Hospital Taunton,Enrolled Nurses Badge.

An unusual triangular nurses badge from Trinity Hospital Taunton.Originally the Taunton Union Workhouse, the building became a hospital in 1929 before it eventually closed in 1993.The hospital was a combined school for Enrolled Nurse Training. The badge has a central motif of the Wyvern from the Somerset flag with the hospital title around the edges.Condition is good with pin, clasp and safety roller catch all good.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent Street Birmingham which dates this to pre 1961
