A nice clean example of a Registered Fever Nurse for Scotland silver badge.Good enamel saltire with some surface scratches. Pin and clasp good.Safety chain in situ.Marked to the rear M.S.Barrie E21452,Makers marks Brook Edinburgh.Hallmarks for Birmingham 1932.
The recipient was Margaret Shaw Barrie who was registered on 21/11/32, having trained at the City Hospital Edinburgh.This lady also appears to have completed her General Nurse training at Falkirk District Infirmary in 1939 .
