A nice silver Gilt nurses badge from Meanwood Park Hospital Leeds.This was the Learning Disabilities Hospital which opened in 1920 and came into the NHS in 1948.It came under the control of the Leeds(group B) Hospital Management Committee until 1974.The badge depicts the emblem of Leeds HMC.Very good condition with pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.Hallmarked for 1960
