Nightingale School of Nursing,St Thomas' Hospital,Silver Nurses Badge

A beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital.Demand for these remains high and I'm afraid the price reflects this demand and my purchase cost.

The enamelling on this badge is superb but has sustained a couple of very small areas of damage to the tips,as pictured, which is reflected in the price
The pin, and clasp are good and a safety chain is in situ.It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital L.Ann Biggie 1955 Loyalty. (Lesley Ann Biggie is shown as being registered as SRN 223643 on 31.3.1955 having trained at St Thomas) Although not marked as such I believe this to be silver.
