Sheffield Lodge Moor Hospital,Nurses Badge

A Base metal and enamel Nurses badge from Lodge Moor Hospital Sheffield.Originally an Isolation hospital it was later to expand to include chest patients and a specialist Spinal injuries unit.It finally closed in 1994.The central motif is a white maltese cross with red cross imposed on it.The hospital title appears on a blue badge around the edge.Condition is good with pin and clasp intact.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Limited,regent Street Birmingham Named to V.Townsend.Height 33mm
