Mid Essex School of Nursing,Nurses Badge

A brass and enamel nurses badge from the Mid Essex School of Nursing,Chelmsford.I believe this particular wording dates it to the late 1970s/early 1980s.A similar design of badge was used over many years in a variety of materials and wordings.The design features two shields.The first bears the arms of Chelmsford whilst the second bears the three seaxes of Essex.Generally good condition but with some surface scratches.Pin,clasp and safety roller catch all intact.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 35mm
