A scarce Silver and enamel nurses badge for the Saint Andrews and Hellesdon Group Hospitals the mental hospitals of Norwich.The heavy circular badge has an enamel shield featuring the saltire of St Andrew topped by the lion emblem of Norwich.The hospital titles appear on a green enamel band ( I believe this badge denotes Enrolled Nurse Mental) and a band of Laurel leaves are around the rim.Condition is good.Pin and clasp intact.Named for J Pearson Oct 1974.Marked Silver.Height 32mm.
