Aberdeen Woodend Hospital,Silver nurses badge

A silver and enamel nurses badge from Woodend Hospital Aberdeen.Originally the Workhouse and Infirmary it became a general Hospital under the NHS.The shield shape badge features the coat of arms of Aberdeen.The hospital title appears on a pale blue band around the edge.Condition is generally good but there are some small chips to the enamel.The pin has been professionally replaced.Silver hallmarks for AF Birmingham 1953.Height 29mm
