A badge in enamelled silver for the Derby Hospital Day of 1929.I believe that this was a day given over to activities to raise funds for the different Derby Hospitals prior to the introduction of the NHS.
The different arms of the cross feature The Home of Rest,Royal Infirmary,Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital.The centre features the Buck within Palings of a Park,the emblem of Derby.
The rear is named to A R Purviss. Makers marks are for Fattorini & Sons Birmingham.It is hallmarked silver for 1927.Height 32mm
