An unusual and rare badge from the Saffron Walden Hospital in Essex. Part of the Chelmsford and Essex Hospital Group,the badge utilises the school of Nursing from there which has been adapted from a pin back to a pendant fitting by the addition of a enamelled pin back suspension bar brooch.This bears the title Sarron Walden Hospital.Condition is very good .The rear bears makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham.It has silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1946.Height 49mm
