Nightingale School of Nursing,St Thomas' Hospital,Silver Nurses Badge

Another beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital.Demand for these remains high and I'm afraid the price reflects this demand and my purchase cost.

The enamelling on this badge is very good but has sustained a couple of very small areas of damage to the tips at the lower left and lower right,as pictured.This is reflected in the price
The pin, and clasp are good and a safety chain is in situ.It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital L.Dorothy Maddock 1931 ( Lena Dorothy Maddock is shown as being registered as SRN 61453 on 27.11.31 having trained at St Thomas 1928-31)
Although not marked as such I know that these were silver.
