A silver and enamel Badge from the St Cadoc's Hospital in Caerleon Newport Wales. Originally the Newport Borough Asylum it became St Cadoc's hospital upon joining the new NHS in 1948.This badge dates to shortly after that time when it was part of the Vale of Usk Hospital Management Committee along with Pen y Val hospital in Abergavenny.In very good condition with only minor surface scratches.Pin and clasp are good.Silver hallmarks for T& Co London 1951.Height 32mm
