A base metal and enamel nurses badge from Maryfield Hospital Dundee.Originally the Eastern Hospital it served as the Poor Law Infirmary for Dundee.It closed in the 1970s and this badge dates to the 1960s.Featuring the arms of the burgh of Dundee with the motto Dei Donum-God's Gift and Prudentia Et Candore-With Thought and Purity
In fair condition with damage to the enamel at the edge as pictured. Clasp is missing although pin is still present.
Engraved to rear Alexandra M Brown,this is Alexandra Martin Brown who appears on the Scottish register for February 1965. Makers mark Thomas Fattorini Ltd regent street Birmingham.Height 32mm
