Enfield & Haringey School of Nursing,Chace Wing,Nurses badge

A base metal and enamel pendant badge from the Enfield and Haringey School of Nursing.The suspension bar identifies it as being for the Chace Wing,previously the Chase Farm Hospital which came part of the Health Authority after 1974.The design consists of an enamelled Greek cross with scrolls to the quarters,The centre bears a stylised E and H resembling an arrow and this hangs from a gold coloured brooch bar bearing Chace Wing in a raised relief( I am unsure as to why Chace has been spelled rather than Chase?).Condition is excellent being unissued.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 48mm
