St Georges Hospital,London,Silver Nurses Buckle

A silver buckle and clasp,mounted on a black elasticated belt, from St Georges Hospital London. Originally located at Hyde Park Corner before relocating to Tooting in 1979,the original building is now a luxury hotel.
The buckle, hallmarked silver ,features St George slaying the dragon.The hallmarks are JP(for John Pinches) London 1965
It is in good condition with only minor surface scratches as is to be expected from a pre-owned item. The buckle is 65mm tall and is attached to a petersham belt.
