Harrow Hospital,Charing Cross Group School of Nursing,Nurses silver prize medal

A rare cased silver nurses prize medal for Harrow Hospital, part of the Charing Cross Group School of Nursing.The face of the medal bears the badge of the Charing Cross Hospital with " John Adamson Medal" to the centre.This is suspended from the maroon and navy silk ribbon of Charing Cross which has a claw buckle type fixing with pin back.The rear is marked 1958 Gertrude Audrey Hird Harrow Hospital.This has a hallmark for Toye & Co Birmingham 1958.This comes in its original velvet and silk lined case marked for Toye & Co London.,Medal height 38mm drop 74mm
