An unusual design, consisting of an eight pointed star, for this Mental nurses badge for St Nicholas Hospital Newcastle.To the centre are the compass points for NESW within a blue band bearing the hospital title.Condition is good with some signs od surface wear.Pin and clasp is good but the safety roller catch is missing.Engraved for T.Wright, hallmarks for F&S (Fattorini & Sons)Birmingham 1968.
