General Infirmary Pontefract,Nursing badge pair

A pair of badges awarded to the same nurse for her training at the General Infirmary Pontefract in the 1940s.They consist of a chrome General Nursing Council For England & Wales badge.This is in good condition although the pin has been lost with a temporary replacement in situ.The rear is marked to E J Porter SRN 114450 10.6.42.(This is Ethel Jane Porter who had married becoming EJ Lyle by 1944)
The second badge is a silver and enamel badge for the General Infirmary Pontefract.In very good condition with enamel good & pin and clasp intact.Named to the rear for E J Lyle 1939-1943.Hallmarked for WH Birmingham 1948 Height 29mm
