The Birmingham Accident Hospital,Brass Nurses badge

A brass and enamel nurses pendant badge from the Birmingham Accident Hospital. The badge consists of the arms of Birmingham in coloured enamels surrounded by a laurel wreath.This is edged by a pale blue enamel band bearing the hospital title.Height to ring 40mm.Condition is generally good.Please note the original suspension bar was absent so this has a temporary improvised replacement. Marked to rear Selly Oak Hospital 1942-1944 1944-1946.
